Pain is not simply part of getting older.
Stretch & Shine is guided stretch therapy in 15 to 20 minutes. Four new classes a week, at home, for women in their 40s and 50s who are tired of feeling stiff and sore.
Open to new members from Sunday 27th September to Saturday 3rd October.
Doors close Saturday 3rd Oct.
After that, you can join the waitlist.

Stiff when you wake up. Sore by the afternoon
You get out of bed and it takes a few minutes for your body to catch-up. The hips, the lower back, the neck at the end of a day at the desk. You have to put it down to age, because that is what everyone is telling you.
It is not...
Connective tissue does stiffen over time. But targeted stretching gets blood flow and oxygen into those areas, and you can feel the difference. I have seen it with professional athletes. I have seen it with an 80 year old woman who knelt at mass for the first time in years.
There is a pattern I hear from members again and again. Something stops the usual walk. The energy goes. The body stiffens, and that makes it harder to start again. One member wrote to me 'I had just seized up from lack of activity'.
PREHAB IS ALOT BETTER THAN REHAB. The earlier you do something about it, the better the rest of your life looks.
What Stretch & Shine is
Stretch & Shine is an online membership built around short, guided classes. Each one takes 15 to 20 minutes. You do not need to be flexible to start, and you do not need an hour to spare.
Every class uses contract-relax stretch therapy, the method I trained in and use with clients in person. I explain what each movement is doing and why, so you learn what your body needs as well as what to do.

About me
My name is Claire O'Leary
I founded Stretch Therapy Ireland in 2023, the first stretch therapy practice in Ireland, and I work from Clarinbridge in Co. Galway.
I trained in Australia, where my work included professional sport with the Sydney Roosters and the All Blacks, and at Royal Sydney Golf Club. I trained in stretch therapy in York, and my methods come from Kit Laughlin's Stretch Therapy system. I moved home to Ireland in 2014 and added a diploma in neuromuscular therapy.
I built Stretch & Shine for ordinary people. Movement and pain relief should not be privileges. Normal people deserve access to this work.

Frequently asked questions
I'm not very flexible. Can I do this?
Yes. The classes are made for ordinary people, not athletes. You do not need to be flexible to start. Being flexible is what the classes are for.
What if I can't get down on the floor?
Chair stretch sessions are within the membership but only every couple of weeks. Please send me an email claire@stretchtherapyireland.ie and I can arrange a call to discuss and see if you would be okay to join
What if I miss a class?
Nothing is lost. Every class stays in the members' portal, so you can do it when it suits you. You have access to the current weeks 4 classes and also the classes from the past 28 days.
I don't have long. Is 15 minutes enough?
It is, and short is the point. A class you finish is worth more than an hour you keep putting off.
